12/15 Day In Review

We are all sitting down to Journal after a lovely day in London. Everyone got a solid 12+ hours of sleep and was ready to explore. Waverly was set on Ice Skating and luck us we found the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. I would love to say I knew in advance that Hyde Park is largest of four Royal Parks that connect Kensington Palace all the way to Buckingham Palace and that at 10:45 everyday the changing of the guards happens at Buckingham Palace but really I just thought is was the closest spot to ice skate and we just happen to leave at the perfect time. Needless to say our walk down Mall Road lead us right to Buckingham Palace where we got to see the changing of the guard. The kids asked the whole way if I could tell one of my awesome dad jokes to make the guards laugh.

Our route 2.5 Miles Each Way!!!

After the really amazing surprise of getting to see Buckingham Palace and the changing of the Guards, we headed towards Hyde Park for Ice skating. Again I would like to tell you that I knew it wasn’t just ice skating but an entire Winter Wonderland the largest Christmas Market in all of London, but that would not be true. Either way dad nailed it. Winter Wonderland at Hyde park was amazing. We spent the next 4 hours Skating, eating, playing games, and going on rides. We all had an amazing time.

Here is Elza after she convinced Waverly to go on the Pirate Ship ride! Waves in Pumped!
After said Pirate ship ride!! HAHAHAHHA!!

But don’t worry Waverly was still excited enough to go on a roller coaster with mom and even convinced Sage to join. No before photo for the roller coaster, but this gem during…

After walking back to the hotel we relaxed for a minute before going to dinner at an Italian place right near our hotel. Its 7:00pm now and we are going to do some highs and lows and head to bed for the night. Harry Potter World tomorrow!!!

Love and Happiness to All!
