Yesterday was an amazing day in Thailand. We started the morning at a small market where we had fruit, smoothies and Thai breakfast, which was amazing.
After breakfast we went to the grand Canyon in Chiang Mai. It is an old Clay mine that filled up with water and is now been turned into this amazing waterpark. 10 years ago it was literally just a empty watering hole that people jumped off cliffs and now it is a full-blown waterpark. The kids and all of us had an amazing time, jumping into the water and zip lining to and fro. Ozzie described the Grand Canyon as “a place I went”.
After the Grand Canyon, we all took wonderful naps, and then woke up for a evening at the street market inside the old city of Chiang Mai. The old city of Tchangai is surrounded by a moat, and the remnants of a wall that was taken down during some war that Ozzie will tell you about later. The kids had a blast at the market. Sage described the market as a fun, festive place with colorful stands and fruits. The market was eight square blocks lined with vendors, selling food and gifts.
We are on the way to see elephants this morning!!!
