Just waking up the morning of the 15th reflecting on a great day in Singapore.

After landing late and getting to sleep on the 13th we woke up at our lovely hotel and enjoyed a huge breakfast buffet. I will include pictures if we go again today. Here is just a quick list from mom of all the different amazing things our kids ate: bacon, chocolate rice cereal, hard boiled eggs, toast with butter, bacon, pancakes with white chocolate chips and strawberries, mini donuts, chocolate croissants, bacon, sausage, ramen, acai bowl, a variety of pastries, peanut crackers, tiny merengue cookies, watermelon juice, apples, celery juice, dried mango and dried cranberries, raw honey comb, pepperoni, pineapple cookies, plain croissants, and bacon.

Our hotel is in Sentosa Cove and sits right next to the marina. It is lovely. We spent the morning swimming in the pool and enjoying the amazing slide. It was a great way to get over some of the jet lag and reset.

We grabbed a quick lunch and then all took a nice afternoon nap.

Last night was wonderful. We met up with John Stover, my good friend from college who has lived here in Singapore for 13 years.  I can not believe it has taken me so many years to finally come visit, but so happy to be here. The quick flight from Thailand to Singapore made it an easy decision to add a visit to Stover here in Singapore. John and his wife Patricia live right here in Sentosa Cove and just 2 months ago welcomed their daughter Blanca to the family. We will get to meet her tonight when we go visit the Stover home.

After meeting up with John we then headed to the Gardens by the Bay and met up with another good friend Marshall Roslyn and his wife (Darah) and two kids (Juliette(8), Welles(6)). The kids had so much fun playing with new friends and exploring the amazing Gardens by the Bay.

After exploring the gardens Darah and Marshall took us to an amazing outdoor market, Lau Pa Sat, where we ate satay, naan, dumplings, and a Singapore staple, Hainanese Chicken Rice! We were really tired by the end of it all but had such an amazing time with close friends.

Another wonderful day ahead. Grateful for this time with family and friends.
