After making the decision that we had to leave London we had one final morning in London that we spent the morning on the river walk. We played at a playground under the London eye and then ate churros and mini waffles as our last meal in London. We said goodbye to our hotel before heading to the Stansted Airport and flying to Cork. The airport was so crowded and we had to hustle just to catch our flight. We made it just in time but the flight was quick and easy.
The cork airport was quick and easy and we rented a car. Fun part of Ireland is rental cars are almost all manual transmissions which means Elza will be in charge of all driving for the next 10 days!! She is amazing. Narrow roads, manual transmission, left side, and late at night made our 14 minute drive to the hotel a fun one! Elza crushed it! 🙂 So happy to be here in Ireland. The hotel is lovely.
